So I was teleported from 31st of August to 1st of September without my knowledge. I didn’t find out until I drove all the way to the Shiva Moon Party last night. Of course I was a day late due to the time warp incident so am unable to bring you a review.

I did spend some time looking for a reverse direction inter-dimensional time phase gate so I could travel back in time and bring the review but I couldn’t find one.
My girlfriend finds this very funny for some reason, she just keeps looking at me, shaking her head and laughing whilst saying ‘Ting tong farang’.

Zab tells us the party was fairly quiet, he did point out that there was some very heavy rain at around 1pm, the time most people decide to move from the bars to the parties so this may have had some effect. He also raised our usual complaint regarding the road to the Shiva Moon Party, it really is getting very very bad. He also tells us he was constantly pestered by young Thai men trying to sell him ecstasy, fine if that’s your particular buzz but rather annoying if not…..
He totally cheated when it came to getting us the opinion of one of the party goers, he interviewed Nok, one of his entourage! But we figure that’s pretty funny anyway so here it is.

Zab: So my sweet sex slave, how many times have you been to the Shiva Moon Party?
Nok: This is my second time master.
Zab: And where are you from my luscious love bunny?
Nok: I am from Thailand Mr deep pockets.
Zab: And do you go to any of the other parties you precious pillow partner?
Nok: I go to the Half Moon Party, the Black Moon Party and the Full Moon Party but only with you!
Zab: Does a delectable demigoddess like you enjoy the music at the Shiva Moon Party?
Nok: Oh yes! I like to dance! Can we go home now? I need to ‘sleep’.

So a mixed opinion from Zab regarding this party, maybe his mind was on other things, but we thank him anyway for helpings us out.

Not only are the sounds spot on but the site itself is decorated with great care, this is not a thumping bass and nothing else kind of party, it ‘s an audio/visual extravaganza, some of the other parties on the island *cough* Full Moon Party *cough* should take note……
Our only real complaint currently with the SMP is the access. The road into the jungle is getting very very bad, the heavy rains of late have left huge channels several inches deep gouged out for most of it’s length. If you are driving your scooter to this party then take care, take one hell of a lot more care when leaving after a couple of buckets!

We did manage to record some audio tonight, a download will be available tomorrow once we have tidied it up a little and removed some of the background noise.
